If you have tried to do anything with your vehicle or your license during this pandemic, it hasn't been easy. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has been backlogged and trying to catch up on all things to do with the DMV. They also realize that New Yorkers haven't been able to get their licenses and permits renewed. Another extension has been given.
DMV to resume behind-the-wheel driving tests

Drivers waiting to take their behind-the-wheel driving tests will be able to schedule theirs starting in February.
The California Department of Motor Vehicles announced on Thursday that all test appointments that were canceled between December 14 and February will automatically be rescheduled.
The DMV canceled these appointments due to COVID-19 concerns.

PTA Re-initiates 3G/4G Spectrum Auction in AJK
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) re-initiated the process for cellular license renewal and additional spectrum auction in 1800 & 2100 MHz bands in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB), after not a single consultant qualified the laid down criteria for consultancy.
The Authority had decided to hire consultant(s)/consulting firm(s) for cellular license renewal and additional spectrum auction in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and had invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from local (Pakistan, AJ&K, and GB) Consultant(s)/Consulting firm(s) who are on Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan has renewed the licence of state operator PTCL (Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited) for a further 25 years.
The new validity period began on 1st January 2021. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) confirmed that the integrated licence is technology-neutral and permits the company to deliver all telecom services nationwide, with the notable exception of mobile services.
