Nearly 100 families have miraculous escape as Mumbra buildings sink Thane, Jul 26 (UNI) Nearly 100 families from three buildings in the Mumbra township had a miraculous escape on Monday when two buildings developed problems while one of them subsided other one tilted and was sinking the civic officials said. The civic officials said that the buildings have been since vacated and sealed by the civic officials as a precautionary measures. Giving this information the chief of the RDMC of the TMC Santosh kadam said that the teams of firemen and the RDMC cell rushed to the scene and rescued the occupants of the building and evacuated them and the building is since sealed. He said that the civic engineers will carry out a structural audit of the building.
