Man, woman found dead at bottom of cliff in San Pedro

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) The bodies of a young man and woman were found Monday at the base of a cliff in San Pedro.
Firefighters responding to a call at 500 W. Paseo Del Mar near Point Fermin Park found the bodies near the bottom of the cliff, said Nicholas Prange with the Los Angeles Fire Department. Hikers had made the discovery just before 5:30 p.m.
Police say they don t have any witnesses, and at this point, they don t know exactly what happened. We re unable to exactly know the nature of the fall or the reason for it, said LAPD Sgt. Osvaldo Gonzalez.

Three bodies found in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Three bodies were found from different parts of the city on Saturday.
A police spokesman said that passersby informed the police about the bodies of a 50-year-old woman in parking area of Allied Hospital, a 65-year-old man in Ghaseet Pura and a 45-year-old man in Warispura. The police have shifted the bodies to a mortuary for postmortem. One of them was identified as Maqsood while investigation is under way.
Power shutdown: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) issued a power shutdown notice due to necessary repair, maintenance and expansion of electricity lines.

CM orders all govt departments, municipal bodies to pay pensions timely

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed all the departments, particularly the local bodies authorities, different boards and semi- government organisations to resolve the pension issues of their employees and report to him.
He took this decision while presiding over a cabinet meeting at New Sindh Secretariat on Tuesday. All the provincial ministers, senior advisers, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, Chairman P&D Mohammad Waseem and secretaries concerned attended the meeting.
The chief minister was told that there were pension issues of local bodies employees. âAn employee who retires from his/her service must be given their pension and dues in time,â he said.
