SunStar File Photo February 17, 2021 THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) is investigating whether the three bodies found in riverbanks in the city are those of alleged cockfighters who escaped a raid conducted by the Baguio Police District.
DCPO Director Kirby John Kraft said in a press conference on Wednesday, February 17, that three bodies were recovered days after the Baguio Police Station conducted a raid on Sunday, February 14, after receiving information about an alleged illegal cockfighting activity in Barangay Gumalang in Baguio District.
He said police authorities arrested 13 people on-the-spot during the raid. The arrested persons are currently detained.
He said, though, that they cannot determine how many people were there during the illegal activity.
Sources in Delhi government told IANS that the Aam Aadmi Party-led government has asked the authorities that existing toilet facilities available for persons with disabilities (PwD) should be earmarked for the use of the transgender community.

Three-thousand determined competitors took part in the 13th year of the Tarawera Ultramarathon. It s four races that push competitors bodies to the limits, testing mental strength, endurance, and stamina. There is the 21km, 50km, we have a 102km in the Ultra-Trail World Tour, and a 100 mile race as well, for those people who want to go for a very long time, regional director Chris Randle said.
