AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The Summit County Grand Jury indicted a 21-year-old Kent man on several charges after allegedly hitting a Stow police officer while fleeing from a traffic stop.
Stow police said an officer attempted to pull over Jevonte Jones on April 9 just before 7 p.m. on Fishcreek Road and Cresswood Drive.
Jones allegedly refused to stop and then drove into a second Stow police officer who had exited his cruiser to put down stop sticks.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The Summit County Grand Jury has indicted a 36-year-old woman accused of murdering another woman.
Rochelle Paul has pleaded not guilty and is being held on a $1 million bond at the Summit County Jail. Rochelle Paul is accused of stabbing a 24-year-old woman to death. (Source: Summit County Sheriff)
Akron police said Paul stabbed Sara Stubbs, 24, to death inside a home in the 1100 block of Nome Avenue on Jan. 13.
Paul was stopped as she was trying to flee the scene, said police.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The Summit County Grand Jury indicted a 41-year-old Copley man for killing his mom inside their home on Christmas Eve.
Copley police said Nicholas Sibbio turned himself in to police several hours after the murder and confessed.
When officers arrived at their home in the 1500 block of Centerview Drive, they found the body of Sibbio’s 73-year-old mom Nancy.
According to Copley police, Sibbio admitted to getting into an early morning argument with his mom before physically assaulting her.
