Do I qualify for GST Voucher – Cash in
2021?
There are 5 main criteria to meet before you are eligible for GST Voucher – Cash in 2021.
You are a Singapore Citizen, residing in Singapore
You are aged 21 years old and above in 2021
You earned $28,000 or less in 2020
Your home (as indicated on your NRIC) as at Dec 31, 2020 must not exceed $21,000 in Annual Value
You must not own more than one property
You will be notified in June 2021 if you are eligible. If you are a kan cheong spider, you can log in to the My 2021 GST Voucher website (SingPass needed) from June 1, 2021 to check.
Singaporeans will receive GST Voucher – Cash Special Payment and GSTV – U-Save Special Payment are part of the SGD 900 million Household Support Package announced at Budget 2021.
Nine in 10 of those eligible are expected to receive their payouts automatically.
In addition, some 950,000 Singaporean households in Housing Board flats will receive their quarterly GST Voucher - U-Save rebates and special payment in July, added MOF in its statement.
The ministry encouraged Singaporeans to link their NRIC to PayNow by June 15 to receive their cash payouts earlier.
The one-off GST Voucher - Cash Special Payment of $200 - meant to help lower-income Singaporeans with their daily living expenses - will be credited into citizens bank accounts on June 23, for those who have linked their NRIC to PayNow by June 15.
Those who have not but had provided their bank account numbers previously will be given the payment by bank transfer on June 30, said MOF. The rest will receive cheques sent to the addresses on their NRICs from July 15.
Of these 1.4million, nine in 10 eligible citizens will also receive their GSTV payouts automatically.

A Ministry of Finance press release stated that the GSTV – Cash Special Payment and GSTV – U-Save Special Payment are part of the S$900 million Household Support Package announced at Budget 2021, to provide additional support to families during this period of uncertainty. Lower- to middle-income families will receive more.

GST Voucher cash payment
The GSTV – Cash Special Payment of S$200 will be credited directly into citizens’ bank accounts from June 23.
Those who do not have a PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account but have provided their bank account number to the Government previously, will receive their payouts via bank transfer on June 30.

GST voucher payments, worth $1.3 billion, will be disbursed to about 1.4 million Singaporeans and 950,000 households this month, according to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Tuesday (Jun 1).
Singaporeans who are eligible for the regular GST Voucher (GSTV) – Cash Payment will also be eligible for a one-off $200 GST Voucher – Cash Special Payment.
This is on top of the GSTV regular cash payment of either $300 or $150 according to the annual value of your home.
This scheme will be available from June 23 onwards, and 90 per cent of eligible Singaporeans will receive the payouts automatically. Meanwhile the regular GSTV will be credited to their bank accounts from July 30.
