Network Rail chief given extra term
Sir Peter Hendy has been reappointed as chair of Network Rail for another two-year term. Transport secretary Grant Shapps announced the reappointment, with the latest two-year term due to start on 16 July. Hendy has served on the board of Network Rail since 2015. He’s also served as chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation since July 2017.
