Cops say child dog walker could help solve Paisley gun attack on house
Two males, including a youngster, are believed to have been walking a dog near the scene at the time of the 1.30am shooting.

Police probing a gun attack on a house have said a child walking a dog at 1.30am may be able to help solve the crime.
It is believed the firearm was discharged around 1.30am in Glencoats Drive, Paisley. Nobody is believed to be injured but officers are carrying out door to door enquiries as part of an extensive investigations. They are now appealing for witnesses to the incident. Detective inspector Ian Ross, of Paisley CID, said: “While our enquiries are at an early stage, it is believed that there was a potential firearm discharged. “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact police. “I would also ask anyone who has private CCTV to check the footage for anything of significance which may assist our enquiries. If you were driving in the area and your car is equipped with a dashcam I would also ask you to check the footage too.

Forensic officers have now arrived at the scene as uniformed cops and patrol cars remain outside the property.
