Vintage house under renovation brings $9.43M on North End, deed shows
The house at 991 N. Lake Way was designed by noted architect John L. Volk and was sold by the Furlo family to a land trust.

An 80-year-old house under renovation on Palm Beach’s North End has changed hands for $9.423 million, the price deed recorded last week with the deed. The property at 991 N. Lake Way found its new owner within a few days after being listed for sale, according to the local multiple listing service.
Christopher Furlo, who has family ties to Palm Beach and Michigan, sold the house as co-trustee of three trusts in his name and the names of his two brothers, Louis J. Furlo Jr. and Paul William Furlo, according to the deed recorded May 6.

New warning for motorists in Burnham following catalytic converter thefts
Police are asking motorists to be vigilant following an increase in thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles in Burnham-On-Sea this week.
Two cars were damaged whilst parked in Eton Road, Burnham overnight on Sunday April 25th, possibly around 11pm.
Both vehicles, Hondas, have had Catalytic Convertors stolen.
A Police spokesman said: “Do please remain alert to any suspicious activity particularly around the underside of any vehicles.”
“Honda, Toyota, Lexus & Hybrid models in particular, reporting immediately anything you feel unusual, this may include observing more than one person, jacking a vehicle in a hurry and cutting noises.”
