A teenager remains in critical condition due to a gunshot wound, and police have now made an arrest. Hamilton police on Friday charged “a local youth” with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, a statement from Hamilton City Area Commander Inspector Andrea McBeth said. That person is expected to appear in Youth Court on Saturday. The 16-year-old boy who was injured in the June 29 incident remains in critical condition in Waikato Hospital, McBeth said.
