New Delhi, Feb 8 : Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform Instagram on Monday launched a Parents Guide to help young people be safe on the platform.
The guide is aimed at helping young people to be safe, by informing parents about all the safety features that exist on the platform. As the Internet permeates into our lives, especially the lives of young people, parents want to be adequately equipped with the evolving digital landscape, Tara Bedi, Public Policy and Community Outreach Manager for Instagram, India, said in a statement.

IOC announces 25 names for new four-year Young Leaders programme Thursday, 4 February 2021
Twenty five Young Leaders have been selected by the International Olympic Committee as part of a four-year programme in which they will seek to use sport to make a positive difference in their communities.
The IOC Young Leaders programme, which is moving from an annual to a four-year model, will provide additional tools and expertise that may be required in order for those selected to become successful social entrepreneurs and make a positive impact through sport.
Starting in February, the programme - supported by The Olympic Partner sponsor Panasonic - will offer participants a total of CHF10,000 ($11,000/£8,000/€9,000) in seed funding over the four years, and support them with weekly learning modules and leadership opportunities.

US-based Filipino fencer Lance Tan has been selected to join a slew of young leaders that will be part of a four-year program organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Tan, who represented the country in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Argentina, will be able to get weekly learning modules and leadership opportunities under the program.
The 20-year-old fencer and the other members of this IOC initiative from 25 countries and five continents will be able to develop sustainable, sport-focused social businesses for the coming years.
