An Accountability Court (AC) on Thursday adjourned hearing on Park Lane reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari and others till August 18.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB)’s Prosecutor Irfan Bhola presented some missing documents to the court regarding the reference and prayed it to make the same as part of the case record.
However, the defence lawyer Sheraz Rajper opposed the request and said that no documents could be filed after submission of reference.
Meanwhile, the court also granted one-day exemption from hearing to Asif Ali Zardari and Omni Group’s Khawaja Abdul Ghani Majeed on their lawyers’ request.

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court on Monday adjourned the hearing till March 15 on the Thatha Water Supply Scheme reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari and others.AC-II Judge Muhammad Azam Khan adjourned the hearing of the reference connected with the fake accounts scam without further proceedings due to lawyers’ strike.
The court also granted one-day exemption from hearing to Zardari, Abdul Ghani Majeed and Nadeem Bhutto on their lawyers’ request. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor Irfan Bhola and a prosecution witness appeared before the court.
Meanwhile, an employee of Zardari associated with the Zardari House Islamabad, Amjad Ikhlaq, approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) challenging the NAB’s call-up notice through his lawyer Farouk H Naek. ISLAMABAD:
An Accountability Court (AC) on Wednesday summoned three witnesses for testimony on December 17 (today) in Toshakhana (gift depository) reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari and former premier Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The AC also granted time to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file reply against the confiscation of assets of former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Toshakhana reference until January 13.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz had submitted a request in the court stating that the properties in Murree and Changla Gali were in the name of her mother Kulsoom Nawaz and not father.
