Cuomo initially claimed that he was excited to attend the playoff. “I’m going to take my test, I’m going to be out there to watch the game with you, and we look forward to it,” the New York governor said.

The Buffalo Police Department has a no-chase policy. A police investigation into the crash is now underway.

Ferry St. near Purdy at approx. 4:45 am, a 20-year-old male with a gunshot wound was driven to Buffalo s Oishei Children s Hospital. Medical professions then had him transported to the Erie County Medical Center. He s currently listed in stable condition. Just a little bit later this morning a 23-year-old man showed up at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Tonawanda with a gunshot to the leg. Medical staff stabilized him, and then an ambulance transferred him to ECMC for additional treatment after which he was released. Police officials say this shooting originally occurred on Maslch St. in Riverside.
