Pinchbeck East and Spalding Primary Schools to join Infinity Academies Trust Published: 18:00, 20 December 2020
Two South Holland primary schools are set for a new era when they join a multi-academy trust in the new year.
Pinchbeck East and Surfleet Primary Schools are to become part of the Infinity Academies Trust, a network of five schools that includes Wyberton Primary Academy.
After forming the Welland Primary Schools Federation with Surfleet Primary School in September 2018, Pinchbeck East and Spalding are both converting to academy status, meaning they will be funded directly by the Government, rather than Lincolnshire County Council.

Two South Holland secondary schools had to send some of their students home early today (Thursday, December 17) after reports of positive COVID-19 tests.
Both Year 7 and 11 groups at University Academy Holbeach (UAH), along with Year 11 students at University Academy Long Sutton (UALS), were sent home before the scheduled leaving time after school leaders took advice from public health officials.
Leaders at both schools, Sheila Paige (UAH) and Liam Davè, notified parents by letter of their decision to send their children home as the autumn term came to an end today.
