Pinchbeck East and Spalding Primary Schools to join Infinity Academies Trust Published: 18:00, 20 December 2020 Two South Holland primary schools are set for a new era when they join a multi-academy trust in the new year. Pinchbeck East and Surfleet Primary Schools are to become part of the Infinity Academies Trust, a network of five schools that includes Wyberton Primary Academy. After forming the Welland Primary Schools Federation with Surfleet Primary School in September 2018, Pinchbeck East and Spalding are both converting to academy status, meaning they will be funded directly by the Government, rather than Lincolnshire County Council. Pinchbeck East Primary School is to join the Infinity Academies Trust in the new year.

Three South Holland schools report positive tests for COVID-19  | Updated: 16:25, 17 December 2020 Leaders at three South Holland schools have reported positive tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, it has been confirmed today (Thursday, December 17). Pinchbeck East Primary School, The Priory School, Spalding, and Whaplode Primary School, are among 21 primary and secondary schools across Lincolnshire where either a pupil, student or staff member has tested positive for the virus and informed their school. The list, published by Lincolnshire County Council s children s services department, related to the period from Thursday, December 10, until Wednesday, December 16. The Priory School, Spalding. However, it is not known whether a pupil or staff member at Pinchbeck East, Priory and Whaplode tested positive, nor whether any year groups have been asked to self-isolate as a result.
