Yesterday, my co-workers and I worked on a Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity home on Mosher Ave in Owatonna, and yes, I did get sunburnt.
Despite my lobster arms, I had a great day! I loved learning how to work tools and piece together a foundation. I think I missed my calling! The process was rewarding, exhausting and exhilarating.
During my time on the site, my team and I completed a wall. My favorite part was flushing boards and screwing them together with my trusty drill. (Do I sound like a professional or what?)

Habitat for Humanity gets a helping hand
A Habitat for Humanity trailer was stolen from Mason City and left in a cornfield.

AUSTIN, Minn. - A Habitat for Humanity trailer was stolen from Mason City and left in a cornfield.
When it was found, all the tools were stolen.
Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity and the Rocheseter Area ReStore are helping out the non-profit.
Habitat for Humanity says there were about $6,000 worth of tools stolen.
Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity tells KIMT News 3 they are giving ladders, toolboxes, tools, and other supplies to help out.

A couple weeks ago, someone stole the storage trailer full of equipment. A short time later, the trailer was found abandoned in a cornfield, but the tools were gone, resulting in a loss of about $6,000. That of course sets them back on their mission of building homes for people in the community.
