Amina Lohus and her children worked for years to get to the point where they could stand in front of a brand new house and officially call it home.
Their new home was constructed by Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity in Southwest Rochester. The organization held a reception for the family Thursday evening.

The Olmsted County Fair Board signaled its decision to go forward with the Twin Cities hip-hop artist s performance at the fairgrounds next month in a statement released Thursday night on the fair s Facebook page. The rapper has been at the center of a social media smashup over past misogynistic tweets and lyrics.
Prof is set to perform Friday, July 23, three days before the start of the Olmsted County Fair.
