OTTAWA – Two Ottawa men are facing drug charges after an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. On Tuesday night LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 24-year-old Daninius G. Sepkus and 22-year-old Eric Motozapo, both of Ottawa on LaSalle County Arrest Warrants. On several occasions TRI-Dent alleges Sepkus delivered purported LSD and Motozapo delivered purported LSD and Ecstasy to agents. Both are being held at the LaSalle County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
Sepkus is being charged with one (1) count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (LSD) – Class X Felony and Motozapo is being charged with two (2) counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (LSD and Ecstasy) – Class X Felony.
RCMP has charged Const. Haidar El Badry, 29, with breach of trust, obstructing justice and causing a person to deal with a forged document and Const. Mohamed Mohamed 45, with obstructing justice. Both were immediately suspended with pay.

OTTAWA Two Ottawa youths are facing charges in connection to the trafficking of fentanyl in the Vanier area. The Ottawa Police Street Crime Unit launched an investigation in March after receiving complaints about suspected trafficking of drugs in the east end neighbourhood. Police say on Thursday, officers with the street crime unit and the Vanier Neighbourhood Resource Team arrested two youths. The youth are facing drug offences, including trafficking a schedule one substance. Police say the youths were released to their parents under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and will appear in court at a later date.
