Covid-19 vaccine delivery by drones: India gives green signal for feasibility study Star Digital Report Star Digital Report India s Civil Aviation Ministry and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) tonight gave conditional exemption to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to conduct a feasibility study on Covid-19 vaccine delivery using drones. ICMR, the apex body of medical research, has partnered with Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur for the project. The Civil Aviation Ministry said in a statement that the exemption will be valid for one year or until further orders. ICMR had approached the government in February seeking permission to conduct a feasibility study to deliver Covid-19 vaccines using drones.
