Govt pension to designated terrorists: India exposes Pakistan at UNHRC
India on Tuesday exposed Pakistan for hosting the largest number of terrorists proscribed by the United Nations and providing them pensions out of state funds.
The first secretary of Permanent Mission of India to the UN, Pawan Kumar Badhe said this in India s right of reply to statements made by Pakistan and the OIC under oral update by the high commissioner of human rights at UNHRC.
Pakistan s deliberate misuse of this august forum for its malicious propaganda against India, aimed at diverting the attention of the Council from its own serious violations of human rights, has remained a constant, Badhe said.

India on Wednesday exercised the Right of Reply at the 46th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council to respond to remarks made by Pakistan, Turkey, and reference to India in the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) statement.

Young Indian diplomat Seema Pujani, second secretary at the Permanent Mission of India to the UN in Geneva, took the podium to respond to Pakistan s Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari who had raised the issue of Kashmir saying, India has exploited the pandemic to accelerate the pace of its colonisation project in Kashmir and to consolidate its illegal and unilateral action of 5th August 2019.
