This is the fourth time that the UN Human Rights Council has voted on a matter related to Ukraine since the invasion by Russian troops. India has abstained from voting in all of them, just as it has on other resolutions on the Ukraine war at other UN bodies.
Geneva, March 22: India strongly believes that Council needs to function in a cooperative, objective, non-confrontational and non-politicized manner, Pawankumar Badhe, Counsellor, Permanent Mission of India, said at the 52nd Session of the Human Rights Council, which is being held from February 27-April 4.
