Police say the suspect in the mass shooting Thursday night at a FedEx Ground center that left eight people dead was a former employee.
The suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole, who police say last worked at the south westside facility in 2020. It s unclear whether he quit or was terminated from the job.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said it s still too early to determine a motive. The suspect was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound inside the facility. McCartt said the suspect used a rifle, but did not provide more details on the weapon.
