A multi-vehicle crashed closed roads and reportedly left at least one person needed hospitalization on Friday (May 28). Images of several vehicles damaged in the crash and debris littering Ashley Avenue in central Epsom emerged online Friday afternoon in the aftermath of the crash. Epsom and Ewell Borough Council tweeted a short statement, posted at 9.47am, announcing the crash and the road closures it had brought in the area. Responding to a request from the Surrey Comet, a spokesperson for Surrey Police offered the following statement, confirming that a man had been taken to hospital after the crash: We were called to just outside the Ashley Centre car park in Epsom at around 9.30am this morning (28 May), after reports of a car crashing into three other cars when exiting the car park.
