Date Time Police charge man after firearms and cannabis seized – Murray River A man has been charged after firearms and drugs were seized from a home in the state’s Murray River region last week. About 8.30am on Thursday 1 July 2021, officers attached to Murray River Police District attended a business on Mate Street, Lavington, and spoke to the occupant. During a search, officers allegedly located a single barrel 12-gauge shotgun concealed in a roll of foam, as well as ammunition. A search warrant was subsequently executed at a home on Hague Street, with officers locating a rifle, three replica pistols, a double-edged bayonet knife, ammunition and cannabis.

About 10.45pm on Saturday (24 April 2021), police were called to a licensed premises in Albury following reports a man had been ejected from the premises and was refusing to leave.
