Church yard sale
Flemington Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Flemington, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. The kitchen will be open for food and drink.
Election Day spaghetti dinner
An Election Day spaghetti dinner will be hosted by Woolrich Scout Troop 66. The dinner will include spaghetti, salad, buttered bread and dessert. It will be DRIVE THRU ONLY. The dinner will cost only $8 per person. All you have to do is pull up along the Woolrich church and Scouts will bring the meal out to you!

MILL HALL For years Mill Hall Borough has been putting Band-aids on growing problems at its public pool.
And this year is no different.
Borough employees are now patching up cracks along the walls of the decades-old pool in preparation for the 2021 summer season.
But, as in previous seasons, it’s just a temporary fix.
Kimberly Kay McDermit
Kimberly Kay McDermit, 59, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital.
Born Oct. 27, 1961 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Marsden and Leona Cowher Condo.
Kim was a 1979 graduate of Lock Haven High School and enjoyed remaining active with her class functions over the years.
She was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant with many providers over her career with her longest tenure being with Williamsport Hospital. Her last work placement was with PRN Home Health Services of Williamsport.
On May 19, 2012 in Lock Haven, Kim married Gregory A. McDermit, who survives.

DUI alleged
JERSEY SHORE State police at Lamar responded to a one-vehicle crash on Pine Mountain Road on March 23.
According to police, Timothy Yost, 49, of Mill Hall, was driving his 2015 Harley Davidson when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway and crashed into an embankment.
Police say that indicators of impairment were present and Yost was placed under suspicion of DUI. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.
The crash took place around 4:40 p.m.
High speed chase
BELLEFONTE A high-speed chase resulted in the arrest of a Florida man on April 20.
According to police, a traffic stop was conducted along Interstate 99 in Benner Township, Centre County. The driver, Daniel Jones, 51, of Fort Myers, Fla., appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. When police told Jones to exit the vehicle for field sobriety testing, he fled the scene. A pursuit continued for nearly 20 miles.
