A Marion County man, 47-year-old David D. Jones of Flippin, has been arrested and charged with three counts of rape, a Class Y felony. Class Y felonies are the most serious classification of crime in Arkansas not punishable by death. Information from the Arkansas State Police indicates Jones is from the Rea Valley community.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Jones’ arrest comes after reports from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division indicating an 11-year-old female was interviewed earlier this month. The interview was conducted at Grandma’s House Children’s Advocacy Center in Mountain Home.
