Under the old analog radio system, there were areas of southern Trigg County, areas near Linton, and areas of Land Between the Lakes where officers were unable to communicate with their dispatcher due to low areas of terrain and areas with no cellular phone service. Acree said the use of three tower repeaters will improve the coverage area.
