FBI s appeal to identify suspect who held up bank in St. Paul

Federal officials are asking for the public s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in St. Paul back in February.
The St. Paul Police Department in a series of tweets Thursday said its investigators have been working with the FBI to identify and locate the suspect who robbed the TCF Bank on the 400 block of Lexington Parkway North around 6 p.m. on Feb. 23.
Police say the suspect, who is around 20 years old, walked into the bank, pulled out a gun and pointed it at staff, demanding money. After he got the cash (police haven t said how much), he ran out of the building.
An Appleton man will spend 14-years in federal prison for robbing a credit union. Xengxai Yang is also sentenced in Green Bay Federal Court to five years on supervised release for Armed Bank Robbery and Brandishing a Short-Barreled Rifle. Yang held up the Community First Credit Union on West Spencer Street in March of 2019–tying up two of the employees.

APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) An Appleton man has been sentenced to federal prison for robbing a credit union two years ago.
Matthew Krueger, U.S. Attorney for Wisconsin’s eastern district, says Xengxai Yang, 21, was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in prison. He was found guilty in October of Armed Bank Robbery, Brandishing a Short-Barreled Rifle During a Crime of Violence and Possession of a Short-Barreled Rifle.
According to court records, Yang entered a credit union on Appleton’s west side in March of 2019.
