Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have taken to the principal streets of Sefwi Wiaso to protest against the Election Commission over the results in the just-ended general election.
The peace walk is said to have started from Sefwi Dwenase through to Wiawso.
According to the NDC supporters, the Presidential and Parliamentary elections result by the EC do not reflect the true will of the people in the December polls.
The Parliamentary candidate for NDC, Paul Evans Aidoo, who addressed the media said they are going to organise a mammoth protest on Tuesday at the EC’s office to demand the missing ballot box be found and returned.

Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Hohoe Constituency were stranded during a demonstration to present a petition to the Electoral Commission (EC).
The route march, which began from Gbi-Atabu got the supporters stuck in that area (Gbi-Atabu) for several hours as an Asafo group was also performing some rituals.
The stalemate resulted in the blocking of the main Hohoe-Accra road with the security separating the two groups from confrontation and attacks.
Mr Bright Kwashie Ege, the Deputy Volta Regional Secretary of the Party, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the peaceful march was to present the Party s petition to the Electoral Commission (EC) on the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

Dressed in red, they sang their party s slogans while police kept an eye on them.
Ghana s election commission declared president Nana Akufo-Addo winner of the election with nearly 51.6% of the vote.
But the result was quickly rejected by the loser John Mahama who accused the ruling party and president Akufo-Addo of engaging in fraud to retain power.
The election was the third time the two men were facing off in a vote. Akufo-Addo has been declared winner on two occassions.
The ruling party has insisted that the vote was free and fair.
The march was mostly peaceful. But some young men burned car tyres prompting a brief confrontation with security forces.
