A man died in a car crash Friday in the 3100 block of Fern Valley Road, according to Louisville Metro Police.
At about 2 p.m., the driver of a semi tractor with no trailer collided with the man near Ulrich Avenue. The man was pronounced dead on the scene, and the driver of the semi was taken to Audubon Hospital, LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said.
The road will be shut down for about two hours, according to Mitchell. The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
