This represents not only a new Club for Skål International but also a new Skål country for Skål International.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by 50 prominent tourism leaders, vice president of Skål International, Tony Boyle from Australia; Skål Asia Area president, Earl Wieman and his wife Jenny from Taiwan and past member of Skål International Sunshine Coast, Australia; Ms. Cherylynne Bullen who was employed as a relief accommodation manager in Siem Reap during 2007; along with the very hard working secretary of the club, Ms. Annie Rivera.
Length of Contract: 6 Months with possible extension
Position Start Date: 1 July 2021 (or sooner)
Purpose: Lead World Concern Myanmar’s (WCM) Country Mission with mature Christian leadership and staff-care focused approaches while ensuring WCM’s operational continuity by consistently evaluating and
developing cash access solutions. Monitor, respond to and report changes in
safety and security context to protect WCM’s staff and mission.
Oversee and guide WCM’s program operations through quality program design and implementation.
Represent WCM to internal and external stakeholders while positioning WCM for further program growth in humanitarian response and development program opportunities. Ensure
compliance to internal policies and external stakeholder agreements.

“The financial commitment demonstrates the magnitude of the challenge and our continued desire to do what we can to assist the people of India,” Latter-day Saint Charities Vice President Shawn Johnson said. “We’re hopeful that our donation can be a big help in moving towards that and helping to relieve suffering. In many cases the vaccine represents hope, in addition to the end of suffering, so we’re grateful to be able to participate in that, too,” he said of previous donations. “It’s important to us that India is a priority for that effort.”
