Michigan Unemployment Rate Declines in April

This Saturday, May 22nd, I am participating in the
American Lung Association s Fight for Air Climb at Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence. 350 Steps!

As in past years, I am climbing in memory of those who suffered from lung disease, including my mom and dad, my Aunt Jackie and my co-worker Janice, all of whom were lost to lung related issues.

Lung recipient who now needs new lungs hopes to inspire people to be organ donors
Multiple organ transplant recipient hopes more people become donors
A man who has received a liver, kidney, and two lungs hopes that more people sign up to be organ donors.
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Ten years ago, Kyle Bailey received a double lung transplant.
Bailey, who is now 36, also received a kidney and liver transplant five years ago after battling cystic fibrosis his entire life.
After he received his new organs, he made it his mission to raise awareness about organ donations and lung disease. It s an honor to carry these lungs. It s been a privileged 10 years that I ve gotten, and hopefully I can keep giving back, he said.
