The Fight For Air Climb at Truist Field will be held on Saturday, March 27th

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For eight years the Fight for Air Climb has been held in Charlotte to raise funds for the American Lung Association. This morning Katie Kuehne, Event Team Captain for Katie’s Climbers, talks with Wilson about how she has been campaigning for lung health since she was only just 10 years old. Katie shares the story of how the death her passion for lung health grew stronger after she lost several family members, including her father, to lung disease.

DETROIT (FOX 20 - Every February, people run up and down a skyscraper in Detroit to raise money for the American Lung Association. But a COVID world has forced that to change.
This year, participants won t be running up the Ally Building in February. Organizers chose an outdoor location: Comerica Park. And it won t be in February - this year it s going to be on May 23.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Today is National Take the Stairs Day, and in honor of the day Wilson talked with Jessica Graham, CLT Leadership Board of the American Lung Association, to talk about their upcoming Fight for Air Climb event for the American Lung Association. They also talked about the importance of taking the stairs every time you get the chance to help keep your lungs healthy and clean.
Normally held on the stairs of The Vue in Uptown Charlotte, this year’s Fight for Air Climb goes outside at Truist Field in partnership with the Charlotte Knights on Saturday, March 27thThey will be continually monitoring local conditions with regard to COVID-19 and will be following all health and safety regulations for the event..
