Those coffee lovers inspired an addition to the menu. I had to learn about coffee and invest in espresso machines and stuff and that s how Dash of Coffee started, because you add a little dash of coffee in your protein,” Ramirez said.
So, Dash of Coffee on Alamo Road in Alamo was born.
It was curiosity that got Beary Creative off of 8th street in McAllen started. Friends and I got together and we started doing some tumblers at the house and people started seeing them and started placing orders and then it grew because they started asking, ‘Well can you make me t-shirts, can you make me masks,’ Jessica Zarate said. “With the pandemic they wanted all kinds of stuff.
It grew from there into a boutique. They have a specialization in personalized items.
“We do shirts, we do masks, we do tumblers, we do anything you need technically,” Zarate said.
They’re able to customize a lot of things, but the shirts are the item that s ordered the most.

Jeramy Gomez, owner of JPS Fencing, started from the ground up – just like the way he builds fences. When I first started in the fencing business I didn t know anything about fencing,” Gomez said. “I didn t know the different types of woods, or how deep you had to go in the ground, or the different types of nails; I mean there s a lot that comes with fencing.
