The latest patch for Destruction AllStars has gone live today on PlayStation 5, bringing with it a feature that s borderline synonymous with Sony s first-party releases. Indeed, Photo Mode has been added to the crash-happy experience, letting you capture those metal-melting moments in style.
In any single-player mode, you ll be able to pause the game and enable Photo Mode. While details haven t been announced, the mode presumably allows you to reposition the camera, add filters, and make all the usual tweaks to your shots.
The new patch also introduces a new Story Mode series, focusing this time on Ratu. Additionally, the update makes some other fixes and improvements to further smooth out the game. The update is available to download and install now, and comes in at roughly 2GB. Here are the patch notes:
Destruction AllStars Narrative Hook Was Always Part Of The Plan
Destruction AllStars features quite a diverse cast of characters with their own reasons to take part in the chaotic competition.

Destruction AllStars Season 1 has begun, adding a battle pass, photo mode, playable character Alba, and 3v3v3v3 competitive mode Blitz to developer Lucid Games multiplayer demolition derby game. I m most excited to jump back into the game for Alba, partially to try out her laser beam kit but mostly to see how she adds to the overall story of Destruction AllStars as a veteran of the sport.

A fresh update has arrived for PS5 exclusive Destruction AllStars, with version 1.2.4 being pushed live alongside a short period of server maintenance this afternoon.. The update is geared toward stamping out a handful of game crashes and glitches, as well as catering to players down under with new servers.
Servers are down at the time of writing, but should be back up shortly. The planned downtime is for an estimated 10 minutes, followed by background maintenance for a further hour, as Lucid Games spin up a new server region to cater to PlayStation 5 owners in Australia, New Zealand and other nearby countries. In order to support this, you’ll now be able to change your multiplayer region from the main menu.
Ratchet & Clank. And today, Sony announced that
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will launch on June 11th exclusively for the PS5.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will have the titular characters traveling across multiple realities as they try to stop a dastardly emperor who is attempting to exterminate organic life from all the universes. Like other titles on Sony’s next-gen console, the game will take advantage of the PS5’s hardware, including support for ray tracing, and it will take advantage of the DualSense game controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
The game was originally announced last June during Sony’s next-gen showcase. A few months later, Sony released seven minutes of new gameplay footage at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2020.
