The San Francisco 49ers announced that exclusive rights free agent Daniel Brunskill signed his one-year tender. His base salary will be $850,000 per Spotrac. The offensive lineman has spent the last two seasons with the Niners, playing a variety of positions.
$850,000 is a raise for Daniel Brunskill.
In 2019, Brunskill made $495,000 to start three separate positions (LT, RT, LG) and the 49ers very likely wouldn’t have made the Super Bowl without his contributions.
In 2020, Brunskill made $675,000 and added center to his repertoire David Lombardi (@LombardiHimself) April 13, 2021
Brunskill looks to be the early favorite to win the starting right guard spot. The 27-year-old shifted all around the line last season, playing snaps at guard and center. Pro Football Focus gave Brunskill an overall grade of 61.7 for the 2020 campaign.

Tua made national headlines earlier this year when he told me that his rookie campaign was below average. I can appreciate someone who s his own toughest critic, but Tagovailoa was wrong there. His first year in the NFL was . normal. There were moments of excellence and spells of ineptitude. He looked advanced beyond his years in certain circumstances and completely overwhelmed in others. It was typical. But overall, he flashed a strong and accurate arm, savvy, leadership and athleticism. He went 6-3 as a starter, operating with a surrounding offensive cast that certainly left something to be desired. And that s why I m thrilled to see

Greetings Faithful! The Scouting Spotlight returns with a look at a versatile offensive lineman and a defensive edge prospect who could be intriguing second-round options. The 49ers must address the offensive line before the draft concludes. It’s great to have Trent Williams back, but having too much depth along the offensive line should ALWAYS be the goal. I love the idea of adding more talent along the edge, opposite of Nick Bosa. Let’s take a closer look at these two draft prospects.
