Students deserve and our families expect, we must have fewer schools than we do now. By having fewer schools, we can concentrate our resources and enhance program, teacher support, and student services. Superintendent is expected to make recommendations this fall on which schools to close, to merge, or to what they call, colocate. The full changes are slated to be in full effect in the 2025 school year. Earlier this week, San Franciscos Teachers Union released a report blaming most of the Financial Issues on years of district mismanagement. The report says the district spends nearly twice the state average per student on administrative costs. The union said management should examine Office Spending before making painful cuts to school sites. Making the financial situation worse, the School District is giving up on a faulty payroll system after spending more than 30 million trying to fix it. And just yesterday, the district agreed to pay 4. 5 million to settle a sexual abuse lawsuit aga

What do i see in peter dixon . I see my husband, the father of our girls. I see a public server. Not a man who served under secretary clinton in the state department, where he took on the epidemic of violence against women in the congo. I see a fighter, a tenacious problem solver, who will go to congress and protect abortion rights and our democracy because he sees a Better Future for all of us. Im peter dixon, and i approve this message now now, abc seven mornings live. Our house was rocking last night. There were gale force winds. The windows were creaking. Um, it was the worst that ive seen in a few years now, at 9 00, heavy snow and strong, gusty winds. The Sierra Nevada pummeled with rare blizzard conditions as the bay area wakes up to scattered showers and some cold temperatures. Good morning. Its sunday, march third. Im stephanie sierra. Lisa is tracking the latest with this storm. We get to see the sun again. The sun . Yeah. What is that 39 to 52. Are the current temperatures.

To close because of the storm. Were also getting wind and rain here in the bay area. You can see this tree right here toppled at the San Francisco National Cemetery earlier today. Luckily no one was hurt there. Around the bay area, we just got through another round of rain. We are keeping track of the storm. Whats next . Were watching closely at this hour. Areas south of san jose are receiving strong weather storms now moving on shore. Here is a look at the radar around santa cruz. Hail and the potential of damaging wind gusts, over 58 miles an hour, possible with that line of thunderstorms. Notice the color coding here. To the east of san jose, the blue you are seeing on radar tonight, those are snow showers as temperatures drop cold enough today, near 3,500 feet. It will drop lower tonight. A little bit of snow there around the top of mount diablo. And the same cold air, which is a perfect environment for the thunderstorms and hail producing storms is setting us up for low snow level
