New Line Theatre Announces SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, HEAD OVER HEELS, and URINETOWN for 30th Season  Tickets will go on sale for all three shows in August.by Alexa Criscitiello New Line Theatre has announced it 30th Anniversary Season of adult, alternative musical theatre, including the return of Jason Robert Brown s brilliant, funny, and intense concept musical SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, which New Line first produced in 1998 in its American regional premiere, running Sept. 30-Oct. 23, 2021. That s followed by the return of the electrifying, joyful new rock musical fresh from Broadway, continuing New Line s 2020 regional premiere run (which was shut down by the pandemic), HEAD OVER HEELS, a high-energy, adult romp about gender and sexuality, based on a 16th century novel and using the songs of the pop group The Go-Go s, running March 3-26, 2022.

Despite the teams’ identical undefeated records coming into the weekend’s matchup, a difference was apparent from the match’s opening. The Cascades began Friday’s game with an uncharacteristic lack of composure, allowing the Mariners to take the first set by a 10-point margin off the strong play of Leanna Gildersleeve. Following briefly contesting a call on the landing of the ball that ended the set, it seemed coach Dennis Bokenfohr did everything possible to get his team back into the game. Never sitting down for the rest of the match, Bokenfohr was more vocal, coaching and addressing his players in between points.

Norwalk Girls Bowling Picks up Home Win over Clarke

The Norwalk girls bowling team hosted its first home meet of 2021, and picked up a victory over Clarke by a final count of 1954-1815. Junior Alyssa Wolf highlighted the Warriors individually, with 296 total pins and a high game of 164. Norwalk moves into a long layoff, with the next meet coming on January 23rd against Sigourney.
