Woman, 20, arrested after stolen Boston Fire vehicle found in Rhode Island A 20-year old Massachusetts woman driving a stolen Boston Fire Department vehicle was arrested in Rhode Island Thursday night, police said. Alina Dunham, of Quincy, was being held at the Coventry Police Department pending arraignment on Friday on multiple charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, obstructing an officer and operating on a suspended license. (Rachel Nunes/Patch) COVENTRY, RI A Massachusetts woman led Coventry police on a low-speed chase across several towns Thursday evening in a stolen Boston fire pickup truck. Alina Dunham, 20, of Quincy, Massachusetts is facing several charges. The chase started a little after 6:30 p.m., when police said they received several calls of a person driving a truck on a wheel rim on Tiogue Avenue. Officers tried to get the driver to pull over, police said, but she kept going, eventually crossing into West Warwick. Police continue to follow her through several neighborhoods and onto the highway before Dunham finally stopped in an East Greenwich driveway, when she was arrested, according to the department.

Updated on February 5, 2021 at 7:55 am Police in Coventry, Rhode Island chased down a Quincy woman allegedly driving a stolen Boston Fire Truck on rims Thursday night. Police received numerous calls about a car driving on one of its rims on Route 3 shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday. The suspect, later identified as 20-year-old, Alina Dunham, was driving a marked Boston Fire Department pickup truck that was allegedly stolen from the Boston Fire Department Academy Quincy Thursday. Coventry Police tried to pull the truck over, but she continued driving at a low rate of speed, according to officials, crossing into the town of West Warwick. 

Quincy woman chased, arrested driving stolen BFD pickup

Officers found the truck and tried to get the driver to stop, but she kept going into West Warwick and led pursing officers through several neighboring communities, as well as onto the highway,  police said. The driver ultimately came to a stop in a private driveway after turning into a dead-end neighborhood in East Greenwich, R.I. Police confirmed that the truck was a marked Boston Fire Department pickup. It was allegedly stolen from the Boston Fire Department Academy in Quincy on Thursday, the police said. Dunham was also charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, second offense reckless driving/eluding police, obstruction of officers in execution of duty and operating on a suspended license.
