Photo courtesy of Bloomingdale Makers Market   Updated 7/6/2021 6:21 PM A Bloomingdale woman s initiative to help small businesses during the pandemic has grown into a free monthly event that draws dozens of vendors and hundreds of visitors. The Maker s Market s next date is July 25 at the Old Town parking lot at Schick Road and 3rd Street, where it moved after outgrowing the parking lot of Delish Cakes. Admission is free.   Delish Cakes owner Alicia Eisenmann created the market last year because she wanted to help her friends and community members who own small businesses find a way to safely sell products they created amid the pandemic.
