Neighbours have told a NSW Supreme Court murder trial of the moment they heard high-pitched screams before a woman was found burned alive on their street.
A high-pitched and piercing scream that lasted up to three minutes was followed by a smell a Sydney murder trial witness had never experienced before. It was abnormal not the usual car or fire smell, very unusual . it certainly didn t smell like bushfire or trees or grass, Alison Stuart told the NSW Supreme Court. It was something that I had never smelled before.
