This year’s recipients from Traip Academy are:
Mary Lombardi
Mary Lombard is a dependable, innovative, and determined athlete and student. Over the last four years, she has been an indispensable teammate on the Traip Academy football team. She does not hesitate to work hard to accomplish the task at hand. Additionally, she is a member of NHS, NTHS, and the Robotics Team. Last year, when COVID-19 shut down the schools, she took to making masks to give out to those in the community by hanging them on the fence for people to take. This is just one example of how she looks for the good as a team player to solve issues as they arise and make a situation better. She pushes herself on and off the field, from participating in an Exchange Program to Italy to sailing tall ships off Maine s coast in the Sea Challenge program. She is in the Engineering and Architecture program at SRTC and is looking to attend Worchester Polytechnic Institute or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the fall.

Blank, by the award-winning Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, is the latest offering from Napier Repertory Players, based at The Little Theatre in Napier.
Napier Repertory are delighted to be able to present yet another New Zealand premiere of Soleimanpour s experimental theatre following last year s White Rabbit Red Rabbit.
As with White Rabbit Red Rabbit, a new performer is on stage on each of the four nights. There has been no rehearsal, there is no director, and the performer has never seen the script they are about to be handed.
