KITTERY - John Drisko, principal of R.W. Traip Academy, has announced the co-valedictorians and Latin honors students for the Class of 2021.
Commencement exercises are slated for Friday, June 11 at 5 p.m. at Fort Foster in Kittery, Maine. The rain date is June 14. Ryan Eldridge, television personality and host of the DIY Network television show, Maine Cabin Masters, will offer the keynote address. A ticket is required for admission.

Mary Lombardi
Mary Lombard is a dependable, innovative, and determined athlete and student. Over the last four years, she has been an indispensable teammate on the Traip Academy football team. She does not hesitate to work hard to accomplish the task at hand. Additionally, she is a member of NHS, NTHS, and the Robotics Team. Last year, when COVID-19 shut down the schools, she took to making masks to give out to those in the community by hanging them on the fence for people to take. This is just one example of how she looks for the good as a team player to solve issues as they arise and make a situation better. She pushes herself on and off the field, from participating in an Exchange Program to Italy to sailing tall ships off Maine s coast in the Sea Challenge program. She is in the Engineering and Architecture program at SRTC and is looking to attend Worchester Polytechnic Institute or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the fall.
