More legal action is expected over the deaths of 10 people killed in the Ballymurphy shootings of August 1971.
Solicitor Paddy Murray, who represents nine of the 10 families, said further legal action is being planned. One of those avenues is civil proceedings against the Ministry of Defence and in parallel with the inquest the families initiated those proceedings, he told BBC Radio Foyle. They were stalled pending the outcome of these findings. Given the very critical commentary by the coroner we will be moving forward with some vigour in relation to the civil action .

Ten people killed in west Belfast almost 50 years ago in the wake of an Army operation were entirely innocent , an inquest has found.
The inquest, which began in November 2018, examined the deaths in and around the Ballymurphy area of west Belfast in August 1971.
The shootings happened after an operation in which paramilitary suspects were detained without trial.
Victims included a priest trying to help the wounded and a mother of eight.
Nine of the 10 victims were killed by the Army, the coroner said.
Consultation Launches On Victims Experiences Of The Criminal Justice System A public consultation has launched on proposals to improve the experiences of victims and witnesses within the criminal justice system.
The consultation will seek views on two areas:
• a new three-year draft Victim and Witness Strategy for Northern Ireland
• proposals for the establishment of a Victims of Crime Commissioner for Northern Ireland.
Section one of the consultation focuses on a new draft Victim and Witness Strategy for Northern Ireland.
Justice Minister Naomi Long said: I acknowledge that the process of accessing justice through the criminal justice system can often be daunting, disorientating and at times traumatic for victims and witnesses. I am committed to improving outcomes for victims in the criminal justice system and I want to do everything that we can to make sure that the system itself does not contribute further to the trauma that victims
