Speaking at the event at Parliament Buildings, Junior Minister Jennifer McCann said: It is important to recognise the important contribution of Employers for Childcare. 18 September 2018 New parents and working families are being urged to ensure that they register for the Childcare Voucher scheme. Sinn Féin Children and Young People spokesperson, Catherine Kelly, made the call after meeting Employers for Childcare in the Assembly ahead of the 04 October deadline for the scheme.

Patrick Horvath, aged 5, and his brother Fabricio Horvath, aged 8, were located in the Thurles area of Tipperary on Tuesday, 25 May. The brothers have since returned to Northern Ireland. 20 February 2003 The DHSSPS is to offer all children aged between six months and four years an extra dose of Haemophilus influenzae b (Hib) vaccine during 2003. This follows a recent small rise in cases of Hib disease throughout the UK. Hib causes a number of serious illnesses in young children including meningitis and pneumonia.

Click here for the latest headlines. 05 July 2013 The Orange Order has agreed to engage in talks with a nationalist residents group in north Belfast, following an appeal by a unionist residents group. The Twaddell and Woodvale Residents Association asked local Orange lodges to speak to the Crumlin and Ardoyne Residents Association to find a way to help the 12th of July parades pass off peacefully. 03 July 2015 Two people have been arrested after a gun was fired at a play park in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Beverley Street area, off the Shankill Road, on Thursday. A man, who was brandishing a shotgun, fired a shot into the air and left the park with a woman. Local residents stopped the pair in Beverley Street.

Gregory Campbell, Paula Bradley and Paul Frew are the candidates for deputy leader, the party chairman Lord Morrow said in a statement.
A leadership contest will take place on Friday, 14 May, to replace the current leader Arlene Foster and deputy leader Nigel Dodds.
