For 32 years, I have worked at Beebe Healthcare. I am a graduate of Beebe’s School of Nursing, and I work as an oncology nurse at Beebe’s Tunnell Cancer Center. I love my job, my co-workers and my patients. In 32 years, I only took sick days to have my two children.
In August 2020, my mammogram showed growth of a lump. I had a right breast biopsy and learned that I had triple negative breast cancer. This letter is about the gratitude that I have for not only the excellent care that I received at Beebe, but also about the excellent people at Beebe who cared about me.
The wait is finally over. A year after
Spiral: From the Book of Saw was originally supposed to be released, the twisted tale is finally hitting theaters this Friday. Even though this is the ninth instalment of the franchise,
Spiral has a very fresh look and story. One of the people responsible for this new look, or more specifically the noir themed wardrobe, is costume designer Laura Montgomery. To get director Darren Lynn Bousman’s desired look, Laura researched clothing styles from the 1940’s and 50’s and experimented a lot through sketches. She discusses this, revisioning the famous Jigsaw cloak, the input Chris Rock gave her on his character’s look and much more in the below exclusive interview.

Since moving to Ocean View in 2005, my husband Jim and I knew that Beebe would be our destination in the event of a medical emergency. In 2007, I read a media article about Beebe’s plans for a much-needed South Coastal Health Campus. As a former critical care RN, I closely followed the news and long-range plans.

You might have a departure day circled red in the diary and be furiously working through a to-do list to get there. Or maybe you’re considering a bluewater sailing adventure in future, and starting to think through the preparations you need to make. You might even have postponed your big trip, and be considering how to make the most of an extra sailing season at home.
Either way, in between the jobs lists of boat upgrades and household admin and everything else, it can be easy to overlook one area of preparation: yourself. How ready, really, are you?
My wife and I were prepping to leave our home in Lewes Feb. 15, to make the drive back to Baltimore for the upcoming week. We had arranged for a contractor to stop by that morning to look at a few projects for us. When the contractor arrived at the.
