BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Auburn evened the series against No. 13 LSU with a 9-5 win on Saturday, May 8 in Tiger Park.
Auburn got things started in the fourth inning in a scoreless game with three runs, the first two coming on a Makayla Packer home run just over the left field fence with a runner on board that made it 2-0.
The visiting Tigers then got another run across thanks to three balls in the infield that would eventually score Maddison Koepke to make it 3-0.

BATON ROUGE – Freshman Raeleen Gutierrez hit a walk-off sac fly to right field to score pinch runner Akiya Thymes and lift No. 13 LSU (30-17, 12-10 SEC) to a 2-1 win over Auburn (26-20, 6-16 SEC) Friday night at Tiger Park. It was a big moment for Raeleen, but I think the biggest moment was Amanda (Doyle) leading off with the hit, head coach Beth Torina. Add in the well-executed bunt from one of our best hitters, and it was really a strong team win. We found a way to execute and be productive at the right time, which is really important this time of year.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - It was a pitchers duel for much of the game between No. 13 LSU and Auburn in Tiger Park on Friday, May 7, but the Bayou Bengals got a walk-off RBI sac-fly from Raeleen Gutierrez to lift the Tigers past Auburn 2-1.
Shelbi Sunseri (8-6) got the start in the circle for the Tigers and threw a complete game, allowing one run on three hits and striking out two.
LSU (30-17, 12-10 SEC) got things started in the bottom of the first inning as Aliyah Andrews singled to get on base and later stole second. Taylor Pleasants RBI single would put the Tigers up 1-0.
