Apologies for the missed series wrap up last week. Good news was that LSU took that series from No.10 Kentucky, a team which had tormented LSU for many years. Bad news is that in returning home after a long-road trip, the Tigers dropped the series to Arkansas.
Runs limited as Arky takes game one
As has been the case for the last month, the Tigers dropped the first game of the weekend. This time it was a 1-0 Razorback win. Unfortunately, Shelbi Sunseri was the hard luck loser as she allowed the only run in the game in the top of the seventh. She logged three strikeouts. Aliyah Andrews was the only Tiger of note on offense, picking up two hits.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - No. 7 Arkansas took down No. 14 LSU 4-1 in game two of Mondayâs doubleheader to take the series.
With the win the Razorbacks won their first SEC regular season championship in school history.
Arkansas got on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning on a passed ball to take a 1-0 lead. In the top of the third inning they would add to their nation leading home run total with back-to-back home runs to make it 3-0.

Ali Kilponen tossed a one-hitter for No. 14 LSU (29-17, 11-10 SEC) in game one of the doubleheader against No. 7 Arkansas (40-8, 19-5 SEC) Monday at Tiger Park.
The Tigers took game one of the DH, 2-1, but fell in game two, 4-1, to drop the series against the Razorbacks. Arkansas has some of the best pitching in the league, head coach
Beth Torina said. It took them three games to get to a spot to even score. We did a good job of battling with them and just came up on the wrong end of it. (Mary) Haff is one of the best pitchers in the league, and she just competes and wins
REMOVING excess CO
2 from the air, producing negative emissions hydrogen, and reversing ocean acidification are the three main goals of clean technology company Planetary Hydrogen. I spoke to founders CEO Mike Kelland and CTO Greg Rau about their plans to use their
electrochemistry process to produce hydrogen while also capturing CO
2 from the air which can then be safely stored in the oceans as a carbonate.
The Earth has a natural cycle to regulate CO
2 on geological timescales. CO
2 is released from sources such as volcanoes, and then eventually is stored in sediments, the ocean, or living organisms. However, humans burning fossil fuels has released excessive amounts of CO
