RAPID CITY, S.D. – The inaugural “Bulls & Barrels Rodeo” is taking place at Hart Ranch Camping Resort Club on Saturday, May 29th.
This Memorial Day Weekend Summer Kickoff Rodeo is presented by Pioneer Bank & Trust and Midwest Campers. There will be a Happy Hour with live entertainment and catering by Shipwrecks that begins at 4 p.m. Then all the rodeo action begins at 6 p.m.
When asked what part of the evening she’s most looking forward to, Amanda Wells with Hart Ranch said, “we have 20 bull riders coming. We have great bulls coming from awesome stock contractors here in the area. And just the family fun, just ready to get outside and rodeo again.”

The Bryant-Jordan Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Program recently recognized Fort Payne High School senior Arturo Rodriguez s outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
Rodriguez was chosen for the Bryant-Jordan Scholar-Athlete Class 6A, Area 15 Achievement and the 6A, Region 8A Achievement.
The Bryant-Jordan Program, named in honor of legendary coaches Paul âBearâ Bryant and Ralph âShugâ Jordan, annually recognizes 52 seniors student-athletes from 52 regions in Alabama, awarding college scholarships to students who are exceptional academically and superior athletes.
âI was surprised to find out that my application made it through the first two roads, and I am looking forward to seeing if I make it any further,â said Rodriguez. âI am very thankful for my school administration, which presented me with the opportunity to apply for this scholarship.â
