A 28-year-old scavenger, Abdullahi Musa, has been arraigned at an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court for theft. Police prosecutor, Inspector Bamikole Olasunkanmi, told the court yesterday that the defendant entered the house of one Mr Gbenga Ilesanmi to commit felony and stole three block moulding machines valued at N185,000. Inspector Olasunkanmi, further said the defendant on May 10, 2021, at about 6.am conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by fighting with one Gbenga llesanmi and other members of the community when they wanted to recover the stolen property. Counsel to the defendant, Omowumi Olowolafe, urged the court to grant his client bail, saying he would not jump bail, and Magistrate Abdulhamid Lawal grant the bail in the sum of N100,000 and adjourned the case to August 12, 2021.
